We are proud of the active part the College SRC plays in our school, and how ably they lead our school community in education, faith and life.
With around 1200 students, Bede Polding College is a dynamic and engaging school. Our Student Representative Council (SRC) members are elected by their peers and teachers. They have to meet certain benchmarks in terms of the College merit system before they can nominate for these positions.
The 20 representatives aim to collectively promote community spirit within the College, fundraise for a variety of charities, act as a medium for communication between the College Executive, teachers and students, and represent the College at various occasions and forums, such as the ANZAC Dawn Service and the Edmund Rice School Leaders' course.
As well, the SRC is actively involved in day-to-day activities including daily prayer and assemblies as well as school initiatives including the annual community Trivia Night. We also have numerous leadership opportunities for students in Years 7-11 which supports a nominated charity.
