Bede Polding College wins 2018 UniSchools Steer Challenge

In what has been a stellar year, Bede Polding College has been named Champion School for the 2018 UniSchools Steer Challenge, which saw students raise a Poll Hereford steer for three months. Bede Polding were also awarded Champion School across the 5 nominated categories of competition at this year’s Penrith Show and were awarded Champion School for the highest score in livestock showing. Year 7 get a ’Giants’ kick out of AFL

The AFL Premiership Cup was on a big tour this week. Representatives from GWS Giants bought the AFL Premiership Cup to Bede Polding College as part of a national tour. Each club in the AFL finals series selected one school where the cup would visit, our students were one of 2 schools in all of NSW. Bede Polding College were selected for this opportunity because of the students’ high level of participation each week accompanied by their manners and enthusiasm. Read more...

On the 13 September Year 9 set out to proudly raise funds for R U OK? Day and the Drought Relief Fund for Australian Farmers relief appeal. R U OK? Day is a national day of action reminding people to connecting meaningfully with anyone who might be struggling.
