Over the course of the last 33 years, our College has strived to build a dynamic, harmonious Catholic community, which is focused on individual learning, and built on the foundations laid by our patron, Australia’s first Bishop John Bede Polding. This foundation of compassion, faith, integrity and missionary zeal underpins our College motto ‘Called to Bring Peace’.
We believe that every student has the right to learn, and that we can create 21st Century learning environments that bring out the very best in every individual. We actively engage with parents and carers to set learning goals and provide feedback on student progress so that every student can improve and reach their potential.
We value a safe, supportive, inclusive school community, and we work diligently to foster this. We understand that students are more likely to achieve their potential when their overall wellbeing is nurtured and encouraged. Our highly professional team of staff are tireless in their pursuit of providing the best educational opportunities in the Hawkesbury.
The Bede Polding graduate is a lifelong learner, equipped with the skills to navigate further study, employment and to make valuable contributions to their community.
It has been a joy to become the Principal of this wonderful College in 2019. The year has been very rewarding and I look forward to seeing the growth, development and progress of every student in our care.
